Their lease was up on their current premises in Old Broad Street and needed to seek a new location.
They wanted to be still within the city and required the same footprint as their current offices. They found an office close to where they had originally come from over 30 years ago
As we had moved them from their first premises 10 years previously which included for the space planning and full implementation of the fit out. They wanted us to do the same again with the new premises in Cornhill.
We were given a brief on how the various departments/teams interacted and based our design that gave them a relatively open plan design. We also designed in offices for the senior management and the large boardroom and separate meeting rooms for client meetings. Once we managed to successfully come up with the right design we then chose the colour scheme to work. A fully costed proposal was discussed line by line so that the client fully understood what to expect from the finished project. By taking time to sit down and discuss specific items it left the client in no doubt what to expect
Logistically because of the location in a restricted part of London deliveries had to be planned and managed accordingly. By taking time to pre plan the project it meant that it ran smoothly. The client would pop in from time to time to check progress but otherwise left us alone. We managed to complete before the projected time given and left a clean site without any issues. The client was so happy and said that if they move again in the future they would certainly want to work with us again.
