Their existing 1st floor staff kitchen was quite small and didn’t have any room for people to sit to enjoy their lunch and also lacked a collaborative space for formal and informal meetings.
They wanted a solution that made the best use of the space that could not only satisfy staff welfare but also double up as a nice space that could be utilised for one to one and larger meeting spaces.
We came up with the idea to open the space up by removing some partition walls to create the desired space. This would not only modernise the kitchen and staff rest area but also allow for 4 one to one meeting rooms and a larger meeting room that could be used for both internal staff training or meetings.
We worked to a design and vision but because we are forever coming up with new ideas and solutions the final scheme varied slightly due to better solutions and products that worked on both a practical and aesthetical front. The end result was praised highly by the client and this meant we secured future work with them
Not only was this a challenging and ever changing project we still managed to complete within the clients tight timescales and within their allocated budget. We have used the finished photos to show other clients and this has helped us secure other business based on this.
